Educational Objectives

  • Train all animal patients, acquire the necessary veterinary knowledge and provide treatment.
  • Recognizing the importance of public health, fostering experts who play a central role in protecting national health through livestock and food sanitation, and preventing diseases that threaten the national economy such as AI, BSE, and FMD.
  • Develop experts who lead the assessment of effectiveness and safety in the development of all new materials and biological products.
  • Develop bioscience expertise and skills to develop specialists who play a central role in the development engineering, including production of cloned animals, alternative organ transplants, and treatment of intractable diseases using stem cells.
  • Learn how to preserve the ecosystem through environmental conservation, protection, breeding and protection of wildlife.
  • Train people to contribute to human health and livestock productivity through the development of human and animal therapy, vaccines and diagnostic technologies that utilize biotechnology such as molecular biology and genetic engineering.
  • Social mission as veterinarian by educating the World Veterinary Association (WVA), Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE), and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) educational standards

Educational Contents

Veterinary medicine is a specialized course of study to prevent and treat industrial animals including mammals (cow, pig, horse, lamb, goat, and rabbit) and birds (chicken, duck, and turkey), experimental animals (mouse, rat, guinea pig, hamster, rabbit, dog, and primates), pets (dog, cat, reptile, and bird), fish and shellfish, wild animals (mammal, amphibian, reptile, and birds), as well as insects.

The curriculum consists of basic courses on anatomy, histology, physiology, biochemistry, immunology, toxicology, pharmacology, embryology and biological engineering, preventive medicine courses on public hygiene (food hygiene, environmental hygiene), virology, bacteriology, epidemiology (bacterial and viral), parasitology, pathology, and avian diseases, and clinical courses on internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and theriogenology, laboratory medicine, radiology and imaging, aquatic animal medicine, dermatology, and ophthalmology in the field of veterinary medicine.

Courses on related law on regulations that affect veterinary doctors, advanced veterinary courses, and medical practice are also taken in stages to produce veterinary doctors with an in-depth expertise and great personality to meet the needs of our local communities and to help enrich the human life
