1. Purpose (사업목적)

l  The purpose of this program is to support activities of youth* in their 20s and 30s with their public diplomacy for unification to facilitate discussion on North Korea and Unification issues in the international community. (동 사업은, 통일공공외교 일환으로 2030 청년들의 활동으로 국제사회에 통일 및 북한문제 공론화를 위해 추진.)

* Youth is defined as people aged between 19 – 34 (청년은 19세 - 34세로 규정)

 

1. Eligibility (지원 자격)

 

l  Eligibility for application includes individuals, organizations or institutions with experience and expertise on facilitating activities of youth in their 20s and 30s to promote discussion on Unification and North Korea issue in the international community. (지원자는 행사를 직접 주최 또는 주관하는 개인, 단체 또는 기관으로써 2030 청년들의 활동을 통해 국제사회에 통일·북한문제 공론화 추진을 위한 역량 및 관련경험을 보유해야 함.)

 

l  Seminar, debate, campaign or other activities sponsored by this grant should be directly related to promoting participation of youth with Unification and North Korea related events. Programs will be selected following application and review process. (지원대상 프로젝트는 통일·북한문제 관련 세미나, 토론회, 캠페인 등 다양한 공론화 활동을 공모를 통해 선발하며, 이는 청년들의 활동을 통해 국제사회의 공론화 추진을 위한 것으로 함.)

 

l  At least 50% of the participants must be foreigners with no restriction to working language of the event, and a final report should be submitted to the Ministry of Unification in Korean or English. (최소 50%의 참가자는 한국국적이 아닌 외국인이어야 하나, 활동 언어의 제한은 없음, 사업종료 후 최종 보고서는 영어 혹은 한국어로 제출되어야 함.)

An individual or organization receiving a grant/subsidy from another organization for the same event has an obligation to prove that the grant provided for specific item/payment does not overlaps with support from another institution. (타기관에서 동일한 사업에 지원을 받는 개인 혹은 단체는, 통일부로부터 지급되는 지원금이 다른 기관에서 지급되는 지원금과 중복되는 사안에 집행되지 않다는 점을 증빙할 의무가 있음.)
